So this year I decided to only start a dozen or so seedlings: four onion plants, five basil plants, and the rest are wildflowers. It might be a small crop, but it seems to be just right for my space. And, I've got good news: My girls are starting to sprout. All of the seeds have at least a little action to speak of, with the wildflowers doing the best.

I planted a bunch of flower and vegetable seeds in my window boxes, the week before last, and of course had to clean up the dead stuff that died over the winter - but to my surprise, I found that the pansies and nasturtiums I planted last fall are blooming, in there, and my chives simply cannot be killed (unfortunately, I don't have such good luck with basil, but oh well). So excited for the growing season!
